Plenty of things to celebrate this week:

• International Special Librarians Day (ISLD) is officially on hiatus, but SLA says you can go ahead and celebrate anyway (scroll down to “Inside the Box”).
• There are still a couple days left in National Library Week. It would be nice if the top two hits from a Google search on “National Library Week” weren’t for 2004 and 2003.
• It’s also Merle Haggard’s birthday.

Me, I’m celebrating a partial recovery from jetlag/Daylight Savings Time and catching up on work, laundry, blogs, and other excitment.
